Minerva

The village of Minerva is located at the intersection of US 30, known as the Lincoln Highway, and State Route 183. The town is also located at the congruence of Carroll, Columbiana and Stark Counties. The community started to grow with the Sandy/Beaver Canal and the railroad brought even more to the town. Minerva is also referred to as the Lost Gold Village. The legend dates back to Revolutionary War time and skirmishes between the French and English. President William McKinley also owned and visited a farm just east of Minerva. Minerva will welcome you just like our other small towns.
